Kate Chopin.
For this week choose one of the three authors we read and discussed and digress a bit about why you liked or disliked their writing. How did your opinions change after talking about them more? Would you recommend them to anyone? Why or why not? Do you think the author you chose deserves to be highly respected as an author?

ReplyDeleteI chose Kate Chopin. She is an author that should be highly respected. Reason being is due to the nature of here writing in the late 1800s. She wrote about adultry and emotions of women towards men. Voices from that era did not speak out. What a bold woman to do such that.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion has not changed after discussing Kate Chopin as an author. Strong, corageous is she. She appeared to expose supressed feelings of women from a lifetime we can only read about in books yet women have these same feelings today. She appeared to write way ahead of her time and she should be commended for that reason.
